Jetzt habe ich doch diesen Blog eröffnet und merke, dass ich eigentlich viel lieber Comments zu den Blogs anderer schreibe, als selbst was zu bloggen. Denn ich glaube ja eh nicht an Blogs :)
Nun stellt sich aber die Frage, wie weit man in solchen Comments gehen darf. Ich vergleiche Blogs gern mit den Newsgroups der frühen 90er, aber es gibt einen empfindlichen Unterschied: einen News-Artikel schicke ich einfach in die Welt hinaus, einen Comment platziere ich aber direkt auf der Seite des Bloggers. Dort hängt er dann, manchmal zustimmend oder ergänzend, manchmal aber wie ein Giftpfeil im Rücken. Das irritiert mich.

Meiner Meinung nach ist Blogs Meta-Information. Und die ist nur zu Beginn spannend, irgendwann ist wieder 'richtige' Information gefragt. Comments sind Meta-Meta-Information, meist sind die verarschenden etc. die besten. Bei Slashdot lese ich meist nur die mit Funny gekennzeichneten Kommentare (natürlich mit Ranking 5, die darunter seh ich schon gar nicht :-)). Zu den Chicks von Resident Evil: Die Idee war wohl "sex sells" und hat auch funktioniert :-)

Dass dieser Thread hier meta ist, das ist klar :) Vielleicht wird sich ein Blogger- und Commenter-Ranking etablieren irgendwann, um Weizen von Spreu zu trennen ... übrigens, wegen dem resident evil pic, erst wollte ich als Titel schreiben "Are blogs evil", und als ich auf google ein Bild zu evil suchte, kamen diese zwei dekorativen Damen auf der ersten Seite ... :)

Ich glaube das hat schon was, wenn man das mit dem Wohnzimmer des anderen vergleicht. Wenn Du dort bist hälst Du Dich auch automatisch an gewisse Regeln; bei Dir zu Hause darfst Du dafür mehr sagen was Du willst. Schlecht kommen (genauso wie damals in den Newgroups) Leute, die überall immer jedes Thema auf ihre Theorie zurückführen müssen. Das nervt. Aber genau solche Leute sollten das dann auf ihrem eigenen Blog machen können... Ansonsten halt immer respektvoll und umso wohlüberlegter. Eben wie wenn Du irgendwo zum Abendessen eingeladen bist :) Aber widersprechen ist auf jeden Fall erlaubt und gern auch erwünscht. (naja, vielleicht sollte man dabei den Gastgeber nicht allzu dumm da stehen lassen :) ) Wenn Du findest, dass der Kommentar im Sinne zu stark vom Originalpost entfernt ist, wäre das auch ein Grund im eigenen Blog zu posten und einen Link zu machen. Trackback erledigt dann ja respektvoll die Spur zu legen. Über einen Link freut sich eigentlich jeder, auch wenn er nur da ist um widersprochen zu werden.
